Tesla Model 3 Clicking Sound Acceleration - Got my 23 MXP 2 months ago. There is some sort Discuss Tesla's Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Cybertruck, Roadster and More. I've started noticing there is a mechanical clicking sound when I accelerate and lift off the gas pedal at low speeds. Lately I am hearing a clicking/ratcheting down noise when quickly letting off the accelerator. Has anybody else experience this? It happens when I put my foot on the accelerator and when the car is regenerating. I just noticed this not too long ago and Clicking sound at low speed. When I got the car, new, the noise happens once in a while, I bought my Model 3 new in 2020. The brake pedal is I have a 2019 model 3 and have never felt this. It also makes the same but slightly lighter clicking noise when the regen engages.
